Gratitude.
Having a gratitude practice is an integral part of my daily self-care routine, so it would be remiss of me to not mention those who have walked with me on this journey of bringing Anamchara Wellbeing into being. There are many of you who have loved, supported, encouraged, inspired, challenged, been a sounding board, and brought me a different perspective, along the way. I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your presence in my life.
I am also extremely grateful to my teachers, without whom, there would be no Anamchara Wellbeing. Those who have played key roles in my journey include:
Olaf Nixon, gong master and sound alchemist, my spiritual teacher for several years, and the person who set me on a path, a long time ago, that would turn out to be one filled with sound and curiosity;
Chloe Goodchild, founder of the Naked Voice and all-round amazing and inspirational human being. Chole helped me rewrite my long-held, ‘can’t sing, wont sing’ narrative, to liberate my voice, and empowered me to step into my vulnerability, to sound, and to stand up and be heard;
Assamiya Zoe Bonner, song leader and founder of Heart Song Collective who gave me the courage to sing my song with others, to feel the fear and do it anyway!;
Genevra Jolie, founder of Crystal Singing Bowls UK, who, not long after I moved to London, ignited within me a crystal bowl passion with one small, but very mighty, classic white-frosted-quartz singing bowl. The rest, as they say, is history!;
Anne Malone, founder of Oasis of Sound, soundscape-creator extraordinaire and one of the most generous, kind individuals you could meet, who helped me bring my instrumental and vocal sounds into the world;
Sana Bokhari, tutor with the Sound Healing Academy, who skilfully and joyfully introduced me to new instruments and different ways of incorporating sound into what I do;
Felicity Warner, founder of the Soul Midwife School, and Mandy Preece, author of Being Rock and one of my tutors at the Soul Midwife School, both wonderful ladies who have so much profound wisdom and knowledge to share about the art of sitting with the dying and being present;
Geoffrey Beitz, tutor with the College of Psychic Studies, my first meditation teacher and whose teachings I still use every day;
and last, but by no means least, my incredible healing teachers from the College of Psychic Studies:
Edwin Henshaw, Bernie Jay and Julia Shepherd, who gave me a deep love and passion for the healing which has become the cornerstone of my personal and professional practice.
To each and every one of you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Deep gratitude also goes to two awesome ladies whose technical expertise helped make Anamchara Wellbeing a reality in the real world, not just in my dreams.
Nora Rose Zinerman, founder of Nora Zinerman Studio, my website designer, whose vision, passion and very different perspective brought me a website that far exceeded my expectations and brings me great joy; and
Brenna Duncan, founder of Brenna Duncan Photography, a London personal brand photographer and all-round fun lady to spend time with! Not only is she fun and a great laugh, but her images are stunning, and she captures light beautifully.
Thank you, all.
